An outstanding example from the event was Johann Moser, an artist and co -founder of Ourpower, who, through his exhibition "Visual Stories", demonstrated impressively how art and renewable energy are interwoven. The physicist and energy expert Johannes Schmidl also presented his work "About the dignity of the glaciers", which shows that the understanding of a sustainable future begins in the head. The head of the Bürgeren energy in Germany, Katharina Habersbrunner, highlighted the importance of energy communities and how citizens: Interior active partners: can become the solution of energy issues.
Another urgent topic was the integration of young people to the energy sector. This goes hand in hand with the plan to expand the Ourpower marketplace to facilitate the participation of young people, as explained in the blog article by Ourpower.Coop. In the various project regions there are already initiatives to exchange ideas between young people, local decision -makers: inside and scientists: to promote inside.
