Emotional sounds inspire 500 music lovers in Gießen!
On January 11, 2025, an impressive concert took place in the Gießen congress hall, which was visited by almost 500 music lovers. Conductor Petr Chromczák led the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Prague and presented a varied program with works by Vivaldi, Haydn and Handel.
Antonio Vivaldi's famous work "The Four Seasons", which was heralded by Martin Kos, the first violinist. The audience was able to look forward to a gentle and well -used dynamic in "spring", stronger colors, but overall more reserved sounds in the "summer", and finally gentle, happy sounds in "autumn". The overall sound was described as flawless and round, the implementation was characterized by great energy.
creative interpretations and emotional highlights
In the second part, Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 45, also known as the farewell symphony, provided atmospheric variety. The orchestra was expanded to include sheet metal and woodwinds and surprised with a pronounced change of mood and colored realization of the pieces. Chromczák warned the audience not to applaud every sentence, which contributed to an exemplary unity in the menuett. The final was performed soulily, and the light shutdown before the last sentence left a special impression.
Georg Friedrich Handel's water music formed the end of the concert, in which woodwind and clear brass sounds shone. The emotional depth and the excellent transparency of the performance delighted those present, while Chromczák clearly worked out different gaits. The encore, the "Adagio" by Tomaso Albinoni, was interpreted emotionally and coherently, which ended in a positive audience echo and great applause.
The concert will remember and reflects the high musical artistry of the artists involved. Further information on events, such as the next performance of Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons", can be found on htk-kontor.de
