Innsbruck, Österreich - radiant sunshine and mild temperatures have shaped the last few days in Austria. But now a drastic change in weather is announcing that will affect the weekend in particular. As Harald Seidl explains from Geosphere Austria, the clouds will increase from Saturday and in the east of the country you can count on high fog early on. "When the sun shines on Saturday, even Sahara dust blows away - so the view will be cloudy," reports Seidl in an interview with 5 minutes. The good news: At night, the risk of frost drops, which should delight many garden lovers. In addition, the temperatures remain above average - especially in the Lavanttal, up to 16 degrees can be reached on weekends.

But even in the rest of Austria, the mild high pressure weather is quickly over. As meteorologist Andreas Mannsberger explains, southwestern flow brings thick clouds and occasionally even rain. Schauer can be expected in the Carinthian area on Sunday. While many regions initially stay dry, the weather on Sunday not only drops temperatures, but also the desire for excursions. On Saturday, the temperatures climbed into many places over 20 degrees, such as in Innsbruck, while in the east, especially in the Waldviertel, there was a cooler weather.

In Germany, on the other hand, the spring -like weather is further enjoyed. Meteorologist Marcel Schmid from the German Weather Service reports that high "Jasper" brings sunny and dry weather conditions into the country. For the weekend, the meteorologists expect temperatures of up to 16 degrees, while the coastal regions and mountains remain cooler. Nevertheless, the temperatures on Sunday, as in Austria, are slightly decreased, and rain is expected in the afternoon. According to Schmid, however, it remains mild overall and the sun shows in between.
