An exciting weather change for Münster is imminent! The German Weather Service (DWD) operates an impressive 83 weather stations nationwide, but the current station for Münster? It's at Münster/Osnabrück Airport! This often leads to confusion: How can it be that things are always slightly different there - be it warmer, colder, wetter or drier - than in Münster itself, which is only a good 20 kilometers away?
In order to improve loyal weather reporting and provide the citizens of Münster with more precise values, a network of new temperature measuring stations is now being set up.
