A new wind is blowing in the Weiden-Neustadt job center! Stefan Erndt has taken over the helm since November 1, 2024 and will manage the fortunes of the job center. He succeeds Peter Witt, who has successfully been in charge since 2018, but had to step down for health reasons. A change that could provide fresh momentum and new perspectives!
At a ceremonial handover, Mayor Lothar Höher handed over the official job transfer letter to Erndt on behalf of Mayor Jens Meyer. In the presence of Wolfgang Hohlmeier, head of the social department, the outstanding cooperation between the job center and the social department was highlighted. “Short routes and quick agreements are the basis of fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the citizens,” says Höher. The close integration of the authorities in the social community center promises many advantages for the region!
Stefan Erndt: An experienced professional!
Stefan Erndt brings a wealth of experience! He has been working at the employment agency since 1997 and has held various positions there. He gained his first management experience as a team leader in the service center. In 2021 he took over management of the employment agency in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab job center. After intensive personnel development, he joined the Weiden job center as deputy managing director. Erndt is also politically active as a local councilor and therefore has a feel for the needs of the communities.
