VW in crisis: Board of directors pushes for restructuring, employees are ready!

A dramatic scenario is unfolding at Volkswagen! The board of directors is moving with full force towards a fundamental restructuring of the ailing core brand, and time is running out! The pressure is enormous, because the lack of profits from the Chinese business and the stagnating sales figures in the electric car sector are putting the Wolfburgers in distress. The call for a clear strategy is becoming louder and louder, because only an economically stable company can survive in the face of mercilessly growing competition and secure jobs.
But there is a lot of boiling going on here! The board failed to transparently inform employees about upcoming cuts. Instead, the works council takes responsibility on Monday and warns of the impending consequences. Plant closures and layoffs are on the horizon, a real horror vision for the workforce! The conflict between a determined board of directors and the powerful IG Metall, supported by the works council, threatens to escalate. Tens of thousands of employees could be mobilized!
A critical turning point for VW
A paralyzing standstill would be a catastrophe for VW! Both sides must quickly find a solution so that a productive dialogue can emerge from this threatening “conflict of position”. It is high time for controversial but productive negotiations. A clear course is the key to weathering the storm and getting the VW brand back on the right track! Not only are jobs at stake, but also the future of one of the world's largest automobile manufacturers. The clock is ticking and the pressure is increasing!
