Erfurt - On November 16, 2024 at 8:45 a.m. a man was discovered by the police on a municipal property on Stauffenbergallee. The suspect was there illegally and is already known to the officers. In his possession was a construction site cable drum with an impressive cable of around 40 to 50 meters long.
The man could not conclusively explain the origin of the cable, which made the police sit up and take notice. It is suspected that there is a theft here. The cable drum itself is not new and has the handwritten inscription '40 Meter' and the number 219. A sticker indicates a safety test according to VDE or DGUV 3, which suggests commercial use. There is also a QR code from Hilti with the number 450 682 972 - a clue that could fuel the investigation.
