Between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. thick snowflakes fell from the sky and transformed the landscape into a white fairy tale. But despite the slippery streets, the big disaster failed to materialize! The Görlitz police department reported that although there were some accidents, they were not due to the winter conditions. Press spokeswoman Anja Leuschner confirmed that the road conditions were not the cause of the incidents that were documented by the colleagues.

On Tuesday it will be mild with temperatures around 10 degrees, but in the evening the rain could turn into snow. The night of Wednesday could surprise with other snowfalls! Klein explains that the snow cover could remain different from place to place. After a dry holiday on Wednesday, a wild weather mixture of snow, rain and spectacle is expected, which will appear more in the form of showers. On Wednesday evening and on the night of Thursday it could snow again. A real "winter wonderland"? Only for a short time!
