Louis rises in the restaurant ranking - a culinary hotspot in Saarlouis!

The renowned gourmet portal “Restaurant Rankings” recently published its update for October and revealed some notable changes in the rankings of the best restaurants in Germany. Particularly noteworthy is the upgrade of the Restaurant Louis in Saarlouis, which has made a significant leap forward and is now considered the third best restaurant in Saarland. This is a big step for the second Michelin star restaurant, which has also secured a new record at the national level.

The evaluation of the top restaurants includes several aspects, including the ratings from various restaurant guides, which receive considerable attention in Germany on both a regional and national level. The title “Restaurant Louis reaches new record” is the result of a thorough analysis of reviews registered in September 2024.

Jumping eight places in the national ranking

With the latest results, the Louis in Saarlouis has moved up eight places compared to the previous month. This rise in the rankings is due to an upgrade in the Grand Guide, improving its position nationally to 31st. Despite these successes, the Berlin restaurant Rutz remains at the top of the list, followed by the Schwarzwaldstube in Baiersbronn and the Sonnora in Dreis. The Louis can therefore establish itself as one of the regional leaders in Saarland.

The highlight of the ranking remains Victor’s Fine Dining by Christian Bau in Perl-Nennig, which is ranked fifth in Germany with three Michelin stars. The Klaus Erfort guest house in Saarbrücken is also holding its own in the competition, but the Louis has become increasingly important with its impressive culinary offerings and a high degree of individuality. The nine “pans” of Gusto add another dimension to Louis’ culinary reputation and make it a hotspot for gourmets.
