Accident escape in Dierdorf: Witnesses wanted after bus collision!
A dramatic incident shocked Dierdorf on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, when a white and blue bus caused an accident on Königsberger Straße around 4:30 p.m. and simply drove away! The bus collided with a white car, which sustained significant damage on the left side. The damage amounts to a low four-digit amount, while the bus is probably also affected on the left side of the vehicle. But the driver of the bus did not care about the consequences and continued his journey without fulfilling his legal obligations.
Police are investigating!
The police immediately initiated an investigation into unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident. It is a clear violation of traffic rules that should not go unpunished! The officers are now asking the public for help: Witnesses who have seen something or can provide information are urgently asked to contact the Strassenhaus police station on 02634/9520 or by email to pistrassenhaus@polizei.rlp.de.
The Street House Police Station is available to answer any questions at any time. It remains to be hoped that the fugitive driver will be found quickly in order to restore justice and not leave the injured party in the dark about who is responsible!
