As part of the training camp of 1. FC Köln in Estepona, a number of events occurred on January 9, 2025 that shape the preparation for the second half of the season. The training camp that will end on Friday offers the team the opportunity to prepare intensively for upcoming challenges.

The day started with a last training session in the gym, accompanied by motivating English hip-hop music. The players then played an eleven-to-work training game that was characterized by high intensity. A special highlight of the day was the celebration of the 19th birthday of U21 goalkeeper Sandro Blazic. The team surprised him with a birthday serenade and a cake that Blazic blazed with a sparkler in the first attempt. His words of thanks kept briefly: "Thank you, men."

After lunch, interviews with Cologne media representatives were on the program for the players before the afternoon was free.
