Supercross Dortmund: Aranda crowns a master in a gripping finale!
At the event of Supercross Dortmund, which took place in the Westfalenhalle on Saturday, enthusiastic fans followed the exciting competitions. Greg Aranda from Sturm Racing Team secured the title in the ADAC SX Cup by taking second place in the final race. "I had to find myself in the race first, but then I thought of the championship," said Aranda after the race.
Maxime Despray, team -mate of Aranda, won the race and emphasized: "The route is demanding and forgives no mistakes." Jordi Tixier fell in the final run and took eighth place. Cedric Sooureras celebrated his comeback after a hip injury and reached the podium. In the SX2 class, Calvin Fonvielle from KTM Sarholz Racing Team crowned his title win with a win, but he drove 0.805 seconds faster than the second, Jules Pietre. FONVIELE said: "When my team boss showed me according to the goal that I was a master, a stone fell from my heart."
