Krösche stays with Eintracht: Dortmund's swap rumors are absurd!

Markus Krösche, the celebrated sports director of Eintracht Frankfurt, stays firm in his saddle! Despite the persistent speculation about a possible switch to Borussia Dortmund, he clarified: "The question does not arise at all." In an interview with BILD Sport in the world TV, the successful manager emphasizes that he has just extended his contract until 2028 and made big plans with his team.

The situation at Borussia Dortmund is tense. While the black and yellow stays behind the expectations in the Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt shines in third place and is still represented in the DFB Cup. Krösche, who works at his side with the aspiring Star Omar Marmoush, is traded by Dortmund as a potential candidate, but he sees no reason for a change. "I am at Eintracht Frankfurt, we have an exciting team," he explains and leaves no doubt that his future is in Hesse.

Krösche stays in Frankfurt - Dortmund's interest remains unsatisfied

The rumors about Krösche are not new. Dortmund has already targeted him in the past, but the sports director has always waved off. A move to Dortmund would be a step back for Krösche, especially in view of the current discussions about Sebastian Kehl's position. The idea that Krösche could work under the less experienced Lars Ricken is simply absurd for many observers. Dortmund had thought about a realignment, but the decision was made in favor of an internal solution.

With his contract extension and the clear commitment to Frankfurt, Krösche shows that he takes the ambitions of the association seriously. "We want to see where our way ends," he says, lets the fans know that the SGE is on the right course. Borussia Dortmund now has to put up with the fact that Krösche is not on her wish list - at least not for the next time.
