Brazen watch thief in Dortmund: Police are looking for witnesses!

Two weeks after a brazen robbery in Dortmund-Mitte, the police are looking for witnesses. On November 28th, around 9:20 p.m. on Olpe Street, near the Rosenthal intersection, a 69-year-old man had his high-quality wristwatch torn from his wrist in the dark. The victim, who was uninjured, described the incident as surprising and frightening when an unknown man grabbed his left arm and snatched the watch from him. The main perpetrator and two accomplices then fled westward, possibly towards Kleppingstrasse or Friedensplatz, they said Ruhr news.

The police describe the perpetrators as male, between 1.75 and 1.85 meters tall and around 25 years old. The main suspect wore a distinctive brown winter jacket with a hood, while his accomplices were dressed in dark winter clothing with hoods. Against this background, the Dortmund police are calling on the public to report information about the fleeing perpetrators and the incident itself.
