In Bonn-Dransdorf, a young jogger was the target of a shocking traffic accident! Last Monday, November 4th, 2024, the 24-year-old was walking on Kleingartenstrasse around 5:50 p.m. when a brown and silver SUV, driven by an unknown driver, suddenly drove into her. The driver didn't shy away from pushing the jogger off the road as he sped off towards Vorgebirgsbahnweg. A suspected violation of the applicable traffic rules, because the street was only open to pedestrians and not to vehicles!

The incident occurred about ten meters before the junction with Grootestrasse. Despite the traffic signs prohibiting driving on this route, the SUV came directly towards the jogger! In a dramatic twist, the woman had no time to get out of the way - she had to jump to the side and injured her foot. The investigators from Traffic Commissioner 1 of the Bonn Police are now looking for witnesses who observed the incident or who can provide information about the fleeing vehicle.
