On Saturday, November 2nd, Aachen will be transformed into a true toy paradise! From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Aachen city company opens the doors for its popular toy swap that will make children's eyes light up!
Here, little toy lovers can bring their treasures that they no longer need and exchange them for another beloved piece. It's not just about ridding children's rooms of unnecessary toys, but above all about sustainability and the reuse of resources. “As long as a child can give their toy to another or exchange it for another, sustainability is ensured,” emphasizes Anne Lehnen, an expert in waste management in the city. “We promote the idea of reusing things and thereby protecting the environment!” A plus: registration is not required! If you want to take part, you just have to come to the Elisenbrunnen with your toys. But be careful: cuddly toys are excluded for hygienic reasons!

This event isn't just fun for kids - it's also a step towards a more sustainable future! Exchanging toys that are no longer used is a creative, ecological contribution to reducing waste. The project shows how easy and playful environmental protection can be – all while having a fun family outing.
