On Wednesday evening, unknown people played a dangerous prank that caused a commotion on the highway. Several hard-boiled eggs were thrown from a bridge in Salzgitter-Osterlinde at passing cars. Police report that at least two vehicles were affected, including a car driven by a 26-year-old man whose windshield was damaged by the egg toss.

Another vehicle, that of a 56-year-old driver from Sehlde, was also hit, but there was no visible damage to the roof. Both drivers reacted “calmly”, which fortunately did not result in any accidents or injuries.
