VfB Oldenburg: Helmut Jordan Neuer Chairman - a strong team for the future!
VfB Oldenburg has a new captain on board! Helmut Jordan was appointed the new chairman by the supervisory board and brings a breath of fresh air to the club management. The experienced merchant is not a stranger to the VfB universe-for years he has been involved in various roles and knows the challenges and opportunities of the association. "I am happy to accept the task and thank you for the trust of the Supervisory Board," explains Jordan, who emphasizes the importance of teamwork. "We have great confidence in each other, and this is the basis for bringing VfB forward."
New face on the board
With Katja Schade, the board team receives a further reinforcement. It is also not alien to VfB and has had a decisive role in various campaigns in the past two years. "I am pleased to get the trust, continue to help shape the future," says the Oldenburg native. In addition to Jordan and Schade, Andreas Boll, Niko Warmbrunn and Pierre Groen remain on the board to direct the fate of the club together.
The 43rd delegate assembly also brought changes to the Supervisory Board. Stefan Könner, who worked for the club for 20 years, is leaving and hands over the helm with a laughing and a crying eye. "I am pleased to hand over the house VfB in an orderly manner," said Könner, who will lead the Stadtportfoundbund (SSB) in the future. He is convinced that VfB is well positioned and has a promising future. The delegates confirmed the members of the Supervisory Board, who will vote for a speaker in the next meeting. Keulner was adopted with thunderous applause and received a lifelong season ticket as a thank you for his commitment.
