Living sustainably: Uelzen invites you to the exciting information evening!
Daily consumption has a massive impact on our planet! But there is hope: We can actively support environmental protection and social responsibility through conscious purchase decisions. But why do many fail to put their sustainable beliefs into practice? In order to clarify this burning question, the climate protection management of the Hanseatic city of Uelzen invites you to a captivating information evening in the town hall on Wednesday, November 20, at 7 p.m. The entry? For free!
An evening full of knowledge
Prof. Dr. Monika Impschloß from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg will show in her lecture why there is often a gap between intention and action. It presents scientifically well -founded strategies to promote sustainable consumption. An exciting highlight: it illuminates the topic of upcycling and how we can create new new things!
But that's not all! The new Uelzen repair café "Die Heilemacher" will be on site and will bring the motto "Repair instead of throwing away". In addition, the “Style for Future” student company of BBS 1 Uelzen will present creative upcycling mode, which can be bought directly. The electronics store Expert Uelzen will also be represented with an impulse for repair, recycling and disposal. This is a unique opportunity to find out about sustainable alternatives and actively participate!
