Kaufhaus Kösel generously donates 1,000 euros for children and animals!
A generous fundraising campaign was recently launched in Holzminden, which benefited both the Neuhaus children's home and the animal shelter in Holzminden. The Kösel department store proudly presented two checks for 500 euros each, which were generated through the sale of an exclusive Holzminden puzzle. “We are pleased that the puzzle campaign was so successful and that we can use the proceeds to help these institutions,” explained the managing directors Andreas and Ralf Kösel. The head of the children's home, Tanja Arzeus, gratefully accepted the check and emphasized the importance of this support for the children and young people at the facility.
Further support for institutions in need
In addition to the financial help, “lion mom” Susanne Saage was also on site. She received 500 “Lion Power Pens” worth 1,250 euros from Kösel, which she can distribute to children in the clinic. In addition to monetary donations, donations in kind are important to bring joy to the little patients. This positive news about the fundraising campaign was also picked up by Westfalen-Blatt, which highlighted both the community's general willingness to help and the support from regional service clubs. At a Ladies’ Circle event, over 60,000 euros were collected for various projects in the region. The Neuhaus children's home received part of this sum, which is celebrated with a festival in this community.
These actions and events not only show the great solidarity in the region, but also the commitment of numerous participants to children and animals in need. For example, part of the donations will be used to purchase a mobile basketball hoop and play materials for the children's home. These initiatives help to improve the everyday lives of those affected to some extent. The gratitude of the recipients and the joy of the donated funds were clear in both reports, underlining the importance of such assistance.
