Munich is ringing in the Christmas season: the first market opens on November 8th!

Munich -The anticipation of Christmas is palpable!On November 8th, the first Christmas market in Munich opens its doors and brings a festive atmosphere to the city. In the Munich Motorworld, right next to the Zenith Hall in Freimann, visitors can enjoy the magical atmosphere from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Fri/Sat). On Sundays and public holidays the festival starts at 11 a.m.!

A winter wonderland awaits guests!Ten traditional chalets accommodate up to 20 people, while a standing area with fire pits and cribs ensures coziness. The 10 by 20 meter ice skating rink, a curling rink, a nostalgic carousel and a Ferris wheel promise fun for the whole family. A special highlight: Santa Claus arrives twice a day at 6 and 8 p.m.!

Treats and entertainment for everyone!

The culinary delights are almost endless: 35 stands offer everything from Feuerzangenbowle to “Hot-Willi” mulled wine to delicious raclette and even oysters! The Motorworld Alm by Meckatzer can be booked for up to 150 people and is the perfect place for festive celebrations.

But that's not all! On November 15th, the MAC Forum at Munich Airport will be transformed into a wintery adventure world that will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until December 31st. Here visitors can expect a 600 square meter ice skating area, live performances and even a ceramics workshop for creative minds!

And don't forget: The traditional Munich Christmas market at Marienplatz starts on November 25th and offers 130 stalls with culinary delicacies and handmade goods. Advent music, the Krampus Run and many other attractions await visitors!
