Knife attacks shock Bregenz and Fürstenfeldbruck!

On Tuesday evening, two knife incidents caused a stir in Austria and Germany. In Bregenz, around 6 p.m., a possible attack on a 20-year-old occurred. According to initial police investigations, the man was attacked for no apparent reason by a 15-year-old youth who pulled out a 6.5 cm long knife and stabbed it towards the victim's upper body. Fortunately, the 20-year-old was able to avoid the collision and was uninjured. When the attacker tried to escape, he was chased and the confrontation continued at the bus station. There the man alerted the police, who were able to arrest the teenager and confiscate the knife. The suspect was then taken to the Feldkirch prison vorarlberg.orf.at reported.

A similar incident occurred later that evening in Fürstenfeldbruck, where a 16-year-old was threatened with a knife by an unknown person at around 10 p.m. The perpetrator approached the girl and held a knife threateningly at her, asking her to go with him. Despite the threat, the teenager managed to kick the attacker and escape. Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the police on 08141/612-0.
