In a gripping ice hockey game, the Freek Indians triumphed with a clear 5-2 victory against EC Bad Tölz, and the hall in Bad Tölz cooked with enthusiasm! In front of more than 1,400 passionate fans, the Memmingen showed that they could quickly leave the disappointment of the last game against Bayreuth behind. The chicken protégés convinced with cold snacks and secured all three valuable points on home ice.
The start of the match initially seemed better to run for the hosts, but the Indians were efficient and showed strong assertiveness. Eddy Homjakov put the team in the lead with a cool head in the ninth minute, and shortly afterwards it fell 2-0 by Tobi Meier.
