LaPur GmbH in Northeim has found a new investor!The medium-sized business consultancy enomyc has successfully brought Bönning+Sommer GmbH & Co. KG from Warburg on board. This happened as part of an exciting takeover process led by the law firm Eckert Rechtsanwälte in Hanover and the insolvency administrator of the Breckle Group, a renowned German manufacturer of mattresses and wooden beds. This not only means a breath of fresh air for LaPur, but also saving jobs!
The Breckle Group filed for insolvency at the Göttingen district court in spring 2024, which made the search for a new investor all the more urgent. A sustainable plan was forged in collaboration with enomyc's experts, who are known for their extensive market knowledge and negotiation skills. LaPur GmbH, known for its advanced foam production, can now get started again!
LaPur's future secured
The Northeim location will continue to be a center for innovative foams. LaPur's product range extends from classic comfort foam to special, halogen-free flame-retardant foams for industrial applications.Uwe Köstens, Managing Partner of enomyc, emphasizes: “By taking over LaPur GmbH, we have permanently anchored an important foam producer in Northeim.”
But that's not all! In November 2024, a deal was concluded with local investors to acquire the Breckle Group's business property. This shows that the region is interested and ready to invest in the future.
