Enjoying art in Neustadt: Annual show 2024 inspires with diversity!

Neustadt in Holstein, a place of art and creativity, opens its doors to the eagerly awaited 2024 annual show! On Sunday, November 17th at 11:30 a.m., the exhibition group of Neustadt artists, which has existed for 45 years, invites you to the city library. An event that attracts art lovers and the curious alike!

This year the talented graduate graphic designer and painter Bianca Fenge will be exhibiting as a guest. Her large-format, detailed flower portraits are a real feast for the eyes and fill the entire picture space with vibrant colors. In addition to her art, she runs the Galerie-Café Südcap in Pelzer Haken - a place that combines creativity and enjoyment!

New talents and impressive works

The exhibition is enriched by the Neustadt landscape painter Albrecht Zumbruch, who impresses with his old masterly realistic paintings. His works are often created directly in nature and then completed in the studio - a process that requires a lot of patience and dedication. The artist Erika Ammann also brings her watercolors that were created while traveling. She plays with shapes and creates new, fascinating compositions.

Particular attention is paid to the works of Klaus Ammann, which are reminiscent of the tragic Cap Arcona disaster of 1945. He incorporates elements of tombstones of Jewish victims into his works, which are thought-provoking. The Neustadt ceramicist Angela Christiansen shows her impressive creations, while Ingrid Maschke impresses with mixed techniques and graphic elements. The artist Hans-Jörg Schick presents bizarre sculptures made from flotsam and found objects that surprise with a clever twist. Not to be forgotten is Cathrin Schulz-Mirbach from Bad Schwartau, who inspires with her landscape paintings and ceramic portraits.

The exhibition can be viewed free of charge until February 15th, during the opening hours of the city library at Waschgrabenallee 7. A cultural highlight that should not be missed!
