Artificial intelligence in the upswing: Companies are increasingly relying on innovation!
Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - A new era of technology is all about! According to an analysis by Deloitte, which was published on February 24, 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) and Spatial Computing are the focus of corporate strategies for the still young year. The “Global Tech Trends 2025” study shows that companies are increasingly recognizing how important these technologies are in order to attract soil in the competitive environment. The trend towards automation and intelligent use of data is particularly remarkable. "In the coming years, companies should be able to find suitable models for various tasks.
focus on innovation and customer loyalty
The Deloitte survey "State of Genai in the Enterprise" proves that companies change their focus from pure efficiency increase towards innovative applications with AI. 59 percent of those surveyed plan to significantly increase their investments in artificial intelligence due to positive results. The proportion of companies aimed at efficiency gains has dropped from 67 percent to 45 percent, while the relevance of AI for promoting innovation and strategic decisions increases. Dr. Björn Bringmann, Managing Director of Deloitte Ai Institute, notes that companies now understand how AI can effectively be used for complex challenges, which the potential for higher growth entails.
The integration of AI into central corporate systems is also an essential aspect to achieve competitive advantages. 74 percent of companies have already spiced up their investments in cloud solutions to create a solid basis for future AI initiatives. Nevertheless, there are challenges: German companies are behind the international average in data management and the talenta pancial. Only 33 percent are well prepared to fully exploit AI. A clever strategy could bring the decisive advantage here to promote the deeper integration of AI into the operating processes, emphasizes Bringmann.
This shows that despite the many opportunities, technological progress also carries risks. Companies therefore have to act now to prepare themselves against future threats such as quantum computers and at the same time to realign their IT strategies. It is important to transform the role of IT from a support to an innovation management function in order to keep up with developments and to create new ways of how technologies can be used. This race for technological dominance has just started!
