Cheers to Tara Tabitha: Reality star conquers the stars' summer home!
The anticipation for the tenth season of the reality TV format “Sommerhaus der Stars” is growing because the first candidates are now known. How OE24 reports, Austrian reality TV icon Tara Tabitha will be moving into the summer house along with her partner Dennis Lodi. Tara was able to reach 10th place in the jungle camp in 2022 and therefore brings a lot of experience from the reality world.
In total, viewers can look forward to four former jungle campers taking part in the new season. Filming has already completed and is scheduled to air in October 2023, followed by a finale in November. Since 2016, the “Sommerhaus der Stars” has established itself as an integral part of the RTL program and, since the Corona pandemic, has been taking place in Bocholt, Germany.
The participants
The other candidates include Silva Gonzalez from the “Hot Banditoz” and his on-off partner Stefanie Schanzleh. Hanka Rackwitz, who took second place in the jungle camp in 2017, is also moving into the house with her long-term love Pierre Paminski. The DSDS singer Sarah Joelle Jahnel will take part together with her partner Ersin. Another prominent couple is Jochen Horst, former winner of “Celebrity Big Brother,” and his wife Tina.
In addition, Tommy Pedroni and Paulina Ljubas venture into the summer house, as do the influencer duo Lina Baumann and Ryan Wöhrl. Edda and Micha, an ex-couple from “Ex on the Beach”, as well as Pascal Zadow and Luise Matejczyk will also be part of the new season. However, an RTL spokesman has not yet officially confirmed any names; the official list of participants will be published at a later date.
Reality TV is trending
The Summer House of the Stars is not only a platform for personalities from the German media landscape, but also reflects an ongoing trend in reality TV. Loud Statista Reality programs on channels such as RTL, Sat.1 and VOX now make up a large part of the program - almost 40 percent. The formats range from narrative stories to performative shows and scripted documentary soaps.
Despite criticism of trash TV, which is often seen as low-quality and said to distort reality, reality formats are very popular in Germany. As in 2023, programs like “The Voice of Germany” and “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” attract millions of viewers.
With the new season of “Sommerhaus der Stars”, fans can hope for exciting developments and relationships within the house. The combination of various reality TV personalities promises captivating entertainment that will enrich the summer of 2023.
