Insolvabilité du fabricant de costumes traditionnel Gössl: Plus de 250 créanciers affectés!

Salzburg, Österreich - The real estate crisis has torn two traditional companies in Austria into the abyss. The Viennese construction company and the traditional costume manufacturer Gössl have both filed for bankruptcy-and the financial situation is alarming. According to the credit protection association of 1870 (KSV1870), the construction company has debt of around eleven million euros. 47 employees and around 200 creditors are affected, while a renovation plan with a 20 percent repayment was promised within two years, as 5 minutes reported.

On the other hand, Gössl, a traditional company that has existed since 1947, has applied for a renovation process without self -administration at the Salzburg Regional Court. The debts amount to over 13.6 million euros, and 265 creditors are affected, which makes the situation even more precarious. The managing director pointed out that bankruptcy is not due to entrepreneurial mistakes, but to the consequences of the Corona crisis and the procedure of the house bank. This made loans prematurely, which led to a massive liquidity crisis, as Puls24 reported.

fate of employees in danger

The bankruptcies not only affect the finances of the companies, but also the employees. In the case of the construction company, 47 employees are concerned about their jobs. At Gössl, a total of 99 jobs wiggle in Austria and 28 in Germany. The authorities now have time until May 8, 2025 to register the claims of the creditors, while the decisive vote on the redevelopment plan for June 5 is scheduled.
