Conspiracy theories in the inn: Lecture about the BRD-GmbH inspires Reich citizens
In a shocking incident in Hesse, around 60 people gathered at an inn to hear the crude theories of psychiatry professor Klaus Maurer. The author of the controversial book “Die BRD-GmbH” claims that the Federal Republic of Germany is not a real state. He was invited by Dirk B., an entrepreneur from Niestetal who is active in the Reichsbürger scene and receives public contracts.
The event took place at the Gasthof Fuldagarten in Staufenberg-Spiekershausen, right on the Hesse-Lower Saxony border. Membership forms for the “Association of German Electoral Commissions”, which is associated with the Reich Citizens’ Movement, were distributed. Those present discussed conspiracy theories, from WHO world domination to staged terrorist attacks. Maurer, who worked as a court expert, presented his theses and received approval from the audience.
The organizer of the meeting comes from Niestetal
Dirk B. is not only the host, but also a well-connected entrepreneur who sells garages and fences. Despite his proximity to the Reich Citizens' Movement, he received commissions from public institutions. He was supported by Ute P., who works for the Hessen Accident Insurance Fund and created the Telegram group for the event. The event shows how strongly rooted the Reich Citizens' Movement is in the region, with an increasing number of around 1,200 supporters in Hesse and around 23,000 nationwide.
Experts warn of the dangers of such meetings. Tobias Ginsburg, a journalist who researched the scene undercover, sees an “immense danger” in the ideologies that are propagated there. He emphasizes that these people's beliefs could lead to potential violence if they become alienated from reality and immersed in a world of enemy images.
