Eleven-year-old Mia conquers television: her dream comes true!

Schwäbisch Gmünd.Eleven-year-old Mia Hespeler has realized her dream and is in the spotlight as a children's reporter on Super RTL! Her mother, Anja Hespeler, enthusiastically says that Mia has always had a passion for the stage. She learned the art of facial expressions and gestures in the Vera Braun dance studio and now presents the exciting rules of American football in the series “Toggo Touchdown”. This sport is also enjoying growing popularity in Germany!

In her 15-minute program contributions, Mia takes over the on and off moderation and introduces the football players. Her mother hopes that these appearances will be the start of a brilliant television career, perhaps even with RTL magazines like “Exklusiv”. Mia applied with a self-filmed and edited introduction video in which she explains the rules of American football. After several rounds of casting via video conference, the first shoot took place in the RTL studios in Cologne.

An unforgettable experience

For Mia, the visit to RTL was “the greatest experience of her life”. She was excited to see first hand how a television show is produced. The RTL team and presenter Florian Ambrosius were praised for their great support. The children were not overwhelmed and the performances were organized in consultation with the youth welfare office of the city of Gmünd. Mia is not yet active on social media, but her first appearances have already been announced!

The first broadcast of “Toggo Touchdown” with Mia will be broadcast on Super RTL on Sunday, November 10th at 2:30 p.m., followed by another appearance on Saturday, November 16th at 1:40 p.m. Anja Hespeler is optimistic that this is just the beginning and Mia may soon be able to get her foot in the door of the TV business!
