At the U18 Women's Eishockey World Championship of the Division 1a in Budapest, which took place from January 5th to 11th, the two talented East Tyroleans Siri Zimmermann from Lienz and Emma Kleinlercher from Huben represented the Austrian team. These two committed players are not only part of the Lady Hawks in Villach, but also actively at the Lakers from Klagenfurt. Siri also shows her skills in the U15 of the EC IDM VSV and UEC Lienz, which underlines its versatility.

In the decisive game against host Hungary, a single point would have been enough to stay in the league. Unfortunately, an unfortunate goal fell in the exciting final phase, which the Austrians defeated 0-1. You now have to descend to the B group and fight for the return to the 1A division next year.
