Today democracy in Germany is on the brink! The Federal Constitutional Court's protection was strengthened by a clear two-thirds majority in the Bundestag, but this was not welcomed by all parties. The AfD voted against this essential protective measure, which many see as an attack on the fundamental values of our state. The Social Democrat Schäfer expressed concern: "The foundations of our coexistence are threatened. The AfD wants a different state, a different society."
