Borussia Dortmund has announced a strategic partnership with Thai football club BG Pathum United. This collaboration, launched after summer preparations in Thailand, will see several football initiatives and exchange programs over the next two years. This was announced in an official statement from Borussia Dortmund, highlighting the importance of the partnership for the development of grassroots football in Thailand. The focus is on promoting young talent, which could mean that in the future more Thai players will be able to train and present themselves in BVB's youth teams The West reported.
Joint tournaments and training trips
A highlight of the partnership will be the organization of a tournament in Thailand where boys and girls of all ages will have the chance to show off their skills. Licensed Borussia Dortmund coaches will be on hand to select the most talented players, who will be rewarded with a training trip to the club's renowned football academy in Germany.
