In the coming months, important organizational changes will be in certain areas that will affect citizens. Specifically, these are the departments that are responsible for "benefits to livelihood according to the SGB XII" and "services in accordance with the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act". These changes have been announced for the period between Monday, October 7, 2024, until Friday, November 1, 2024.

During this phase there are no regular office hours in the affected areas. This means that citizens who rely on personal advice to apply or clarify their concerns have to plan their visits in advance. A personal discussion is only possible by appointment, which means that the citizens are asked to make an appointment in advance.

Important information on contact

For inquiries, applications or submitting documents, asked to send them directly by post or email. This ensures that the processing can continue to take place in the usual way, even if personal visits are not possible in the time mentioned.

If you still want to take advantage of the telephone consultation, the corresponding office hours will be found as follows:

• Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

As already mentioned, a personal discussion should only take place after an individual appointment. For many, this could mean a rethink in contacting, since the usual flexibility that is often associated with walk-in consultation hours is eliminated.
