In a captivating new book entitled "Die Bergretter", actor Sebastian Ströbel (47) shares his experience from the filming of the popular ZDF series. In addition to a look behind the scenes, he also brings the readers closer to the knowledge that he has achieved while working with real mountain residents. "I wouldn't call myself a real mountain rescuer yet, but I would certainly have the skills of a good henchman," he said in an interview with the German press agency. Ströbel has developed a certain routine due to the numerous shoots on the mountain and is convinced that in critical situations to be able to maintain the necessary calm.
The book, which was published by Gräfe and Unzer publishing house, is not only aimed at the loyal fan base of the ZDF series, but is also intended to arouse broader interest in the mountains and everyday life there. This mixture of nature, exciting scenes and dramatic moments is what our viewers like," he emphasizes. Despite the artistic freedom that the series uses, Ströbel is important to present the important work and the challenges of the real mountain rescue service.
