The state capital Schwerin has informed parties about the regulations for election advertising for the upcoming federal election on February 23, 2025. Parties are asked to remove their election posters no later than two weeks after the election.
There are special restrictions for poster advertising in various areas. In addition, the posters must not exceed the external dimensions in DIN A1 format. Certain areas, such as around the Old Garden and the Palace, must also be kept free of election advertising.
