Missing 13-year-old from Neumarkt found safe and sound after an argument!
A 13-year-old boy from Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate was reported missing on January 8, 2025. The boy left his parents' home after an argument with his parents and went in an unknown direction.
The last sighting of the boy was at his apartment around 7:30 a.m. on the morning of January 8th. He left without shoes or a jacket and did not show up at school afterwards. The police then initiated immediate measures, which were initially unsuccessful, to find the boy.
Public assistance
In the afternoon of the same day, the police asked for information from the public as they could not rule out that the boy was in a helpless situation. The public was asked for support until the evening and the search for the missing boy continued.
At 6 p.m. it was finally announced that the boy had been found safe and sound. The police canceled the missing person report and thanked the public for their help in the search.
