Gang terror in Markt Schwaben: Police mocked, small town in fear!

Munich/Markt Schwaben – A small town falls into the stranglehold of an unscrupulous youth gang who not only brag about their criminal activities, but also taunt the police! Under the leadership of Emirhan K., self-proclaimed “Godfather of Markt Schwaben”, a group of up to 20 young people has been tracing their criminal trail through the Bavarian community since 2021.

The “570” gang, named after the postal code of Markt Schwaben, is now at the center of a trial before the youth chamber of the Munich II Regional Court. K. and his accomplices – all between 17 and 20 years old – have to answer for a shocking catalog of alleged crimes. Prosecutors accuse the group of, among other things, robbery, burglary and grievous bodily harm. They documented their machinations publicly on social media, where they also demonstrated their contempt for prosecutors, according to the prosecution.

Unscrupulous street lords in the courtroom

An attack in October 2023, in which an innocent teenager was brutally beaten at the Markt Schwaben S-Bahn station, was particularly shocking. His crime? Music that didn't suit the perpetrators! The merciless beating left the victim with severe facial injuries, with the risk of permanent vision loss. “It’s a miracle that I’m still alive,” the traumatized victim told BILD. The gang's brutal approach, always aggressive and provocative, shocks residents and authorities alike.

The gang bragged on social media about thick wads of cash, apparently from their raids. They even used official letters from the public prosecutor's office accusing them of serious crimes as a reason for ridicule. But now the justice system has the upper hand: In custody, the gang members are awaiting seven additional days of trial until December, while they have so far remained silent.
