The Christmas season has begun, and Erlangen is celebrating with a spectacular historic Christmas market! From November 25th to December 23rd, the Neustadt church square will be transformed into a magical setting that will transport visitors to a time long past. With festively decorated wooden huts, open fires and an atmosphere reminiscent of centuries past, this market is a real highlight for all Christmas lovers.
A feast for the senses
The historic Christmas market not only attracts locals, but also numerous visitors from the surrounding area. “Escape the hectic, stressful times of everyday life – come by and enjoy (market) life like many hundreds of years ago,” are the inviting words of the market.
