Blockades by the ministry: Fulda is fighting for a cannabis license!
The Exotic Kingdom CSC Fulda, a pioneer among cannabis social clubs in Germany, is facing a critical point: After the legalization of cannabis, the club in southern Hesse is waiting for the necessary license to finally be able to start operating. Willi Kappes, the founder, expresses concern about the delays, which he attributes to “blockades by the ministry”. According to Kappes, there is progress, such as the first licensing in Hesse, but the requirements from Bavaria continue to hinder the start of legal cannabis sales. He criticizes the fact that while licenses have already been issued in other federal states such as North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria has particularly strict requirements that slow down the process considerably. How osthessen-news.de reported that a deadline of six months was currently exceeded, which was actually limited to three months.
Ready for launch
The Exotic Kingdom Club thinks strategically: Kappes explains that all approvals and bureaucratic hurdles were successfully processed not only in theory, but also in practice. The club has already taken extensive safety measures to ensure youth protection and hygiene. “We see ourselves as pioneers in proving that social clubs are more than just 'drop-off points',” says Kappes. They want to curb the black market and promote responsible cannabis consumption. With modern equipment and a comprehensive, well-thought-out infrastructure, the club could theoretically start operations within four weeks of receiving the license.
In addition, information about the development of medical cannabis products is provided on the club's website. How exotic-kingdom.de explained, there are already collaborations with the Charité in Berlin to develop therapies for cancer patients. Particular attention is being paid to developing safe alternatives to cannabis access to minimize the health risks posed by black market products. Kappes and his team are working hard to create a safe environment for cannabis consumers and change the public perception of cannabis. The club stands for education and prevention to usher in a new era in dealing with cannabis.
