The anticipation for the festive season in Bayreuth is increasing! The employees of the city building yard are working hard to transform the city center into a Christmas wonderland. Since mid-October, they have already erected around 450 poles made of wood, steel and aluminum to install the sparkling Christmas lights. But that's not all! This week the action stage for the popular Christmas market is being set up, and with full commitment!
Using heavy equipment and a lot of skill, ten colleagues bring the massive prefabricated elements of the stage into position. Preparations are in full swing as the city expects a large number of visitors looking forward to the festive offerings. On Friday, November 15th, two magnificent Christmas trees will also be set up - one on the market square and the other on Monday, November 18th, on the station forecourt. The highlight? The ceremonial opening of the Christkindlesmarkt on Monday, November 25th, by Mayor Thomas Ebersberger and the Christ Child himself!

The preparations for the Christmas market are not only a sign of anticipation, but also an important step in creating the festive atmosphere in Bayreuth. The city will be transformed into a radiant sea of lights that will make visitors' hearts beat faster. The combination of festive lighting, an impressive stage and traditional Christmas trees promises an unforgettable experience for young and old.
