District President Henry Schramm honored Dr. Tanja Kinkel, a writer from Bamberg, and Rolf Kießling, a historian from Forchheim, for her important contributions to culture and local research. She has been working in the Upper Franconia district council since 2013 and is committed to health care in urban and rural areas. In addition, Dr. Clemens Lukas, managing director of “Bayreuth Baroque”, an honor for his decisive influence on the cultural life of the region, like this Bayreuther Tagblatt reported. His initiatives made a significant contribution to the revival of the Margravial Opera House, while Heinz Stark from Plech was honored for his profound work in local and cultural preservation. Schramm emphasized that these personalities embody the spirit of responsibility and commitment that is crucial to the well-being of the community.

The awards that evening were not only a recognition of past achievements, but also an incentive for future projects that bring people together and strengthen the region's cultural heritage.
