Hausen bei Würzburg, Deutschland - The toilets on German highways are a hot topic! A current ranking of the rental car check portal took a close look at the sanitary facilities and the results are shocking: two of the worst highway toilets in Germany are in Franconia! The Riedener Wald West Rest site and the Rhön East petrol station, both along the A7, have only received a miserable 1.1 out of 5 possible points. A euro fee for dirty, stinking and even defective toilets? This ensures massive dissatisfaction!

The ranking shows that the toilets in Lower Franconia are anything but inviting. The rest area near Hausen and the petrol station near Schardra are on the list of the worst rated toilets. The users are frustrated: "In particular, the fee of one euro despite miserable hygiene is annoying when going to the toilet," says Mietwagencheck. But how meaningful is this ranking really? The reviews are based on only 15 reviews for the Rhön East petrol station and only 14 for the Riedener Wald West Rest area, while other toilets have several hundred reviews. Here the comparability is more than questionable!
