Forsthaus Klaushof in Bad Kissingen: Tradition meets new delights!
Bad Kissingen, Deutschland - The forest house Klaushof in Bad Kissingen shines in new splendor! After a short closure, the traditional restaurant opened its doors a week ago. The couple Jan Kirchhof and Michaela Albert-Kirchhof, the new tenants, have brought a breath of fresh air to the historical site. "Franconian has always been cooked here," emphasizes Kirchhof, and it is precisely this tradition they want to continue while setting new accents.
The guests can look forward to a completely new ambience! The forest house, once known as accommodation for forest workers, has developed into a popular destination for hikers and families. "We combine traditional dishes with modern accents," explains Kirchhof. The menu is adapted seasonally and, in addition to meat and fish dishes, also offers vegetarian and vegan options. For thirsty there is a selection of non -alcoholic beverages, regional beers and exquisite wines. In addition, exciting events such as wine tastings and cooking events are planned!
a successful restart in Bad Kissingen
The official opening on November 2, 2024 was a complete success! Kirchhof reports of a "really good start": "The weather played along and the demand in the beer garden was strong." The first few days were promising and the guests enthusiastically accepted the new menu. While the Klaushof forest house is being revived, a bakery in the city has closed after more than 85 years - a sign of the turn of the time in Bad Kissingen. The forest house remains a place of encounter and enjoyment, and the new tenants are ready to continue the culinary tradition of the Region!
