Augsburg-A 21-year-old had a very special driving experience on Oberländer Strasse on Wednesday evening (October 30, 2024)-but not in a positive sense! Because his car not only caught the eye because of its striking color, but above all through the blinding light headlights!
Around 8:40 p.m., a police patrol noticed the vehicle, which broke through the darkness with excessively bright headlight lamps and thus disturbed the accommodating traffic. The officers stopped the vehicle and carried out a control in which the inadmissible LED lamps were discovered. But that was not all: the headlights were also covered with covers, which further tightened the situation!
Technical failure and consequences
These non -approved technical modifications immediately led to the operating license of the vehicle. The police and the responsible authorities therefore did not let the 21-year-old continue and initiated investigations into violations of the road traffic approval regulations. Clear rules for the streets and traffic safety - and last but not least an urgent example of the importance of compliance with these regulations!
