Free seminars for integration: empowering women, stopping extremism!
The Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) presented its new seminar program for the 2025 summer semester today. This program offers a total of 40 free further training courses aimed at people who have to do with integration in their professional or everyday environment. These include educators, teachers, health workers and representatives of authorities, communities and companies. The thematic focus of the seminar program includes, among other things, the commitment to combating anti-Semitism, security issues and the prevention of radicalization and extremism. A particular focus is on the integration of girls and women as well as learning the German language. The series of events is intended not only to impart knowledge, but also to strengthen the participants' skills in dealing with digital challenges such as hate speech and disinformation.
Seminars and experts
The seminar program includes both online offerings and face-to-face events. Ahmad Mansour will be on site as a speaker on May 20, 2025 and Danielle Spera on June 18, 2025. Particular emphasis is placed on raising awareness and prevention work, which are important to strengthen society with regard to extremism. There is also a separate training series for teachers that focuses on German and literacy courses. So far, around 10,000 people have taken part in the ÖIF's further training program, with over 90 percent of participants rating the seminars positively and recommending the program to others. Additional training offers
There are also numerous events in the area of radicalization and prevention that are aimed at different target groups.
