Bayerisch-Schwaben celebrates 86 top trainees in the Mindelheim forum!
In a glamorous ceremony in the Mindelheim forum, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Swabia honored the best trainees from the Allgäu! Around 9,000 young talents have successfully completed their training in an IHK profession this year, and 86 outstanding graduates were honored for their excellent performance. These young specialists passed their exams with flying colors in 180 different professions, from automobile clerk to cutting mechanic.
The celebration was under the inspiring motto "Knewed. Skillfully. Chimney. Education is more of us." Dorothee Buhmann, the deputy IHK President, praised the discipline and the tireless efforts of the graduates. "They show what is possible with commitment and diligence," she said, emphasizing the importance of dual training for the personal and professional development of young people. The event not only offered a platform for recognition, but also a festive framework for the start of the professional future.
The best from the Allgäu
Among the 86 award -winning graduates, 33 come from Unterallgäu and Memmingen, 27 from the Ostallgäu and Kaufbeuren, 21 from the Oberallgäu and Kempten as well as five from the Lindau district. The variety of professions reflects the wide range of possibilities that the region offers. The graduates were asked individually on the stage to accept their documents and trophies. A colorful program, including with the musician "Loopink", created a festive atmosphere.
Despite economic challenges, the willingness to train in Bavarian Swabia and in the Allgäu remains high. Almost 4,500 training companies are active in the region, including almost 1,700 in the Allgäu. Wolfgang Haschner, head of the Education Department at the IHK Schwaben, emphasized that companies are actively looking for new trainees in order to conclude skills and to secure their competitiveness. Dual training remains a key to a successful future for young talents!
