In Balingen, in the Zollernalb district, two men were caught red-handed and arrested! The police report that the two suspects, 24 and 25 years old, were surprised by an alert witness while rummaging through a car on Wednesday. This brave woman saw the perpetrators trying to use the vehicle and immediately alerted the police.
But that wasn't everything! One of the men pushed the witness so hard that she was slightly injured. In a desperate attempt to escape, the two fled, but the police were not fooled and arrested the suspects a short time later. When they were arrested, the men had impressive loot with them: high-quality sunglasses, bank cards and several thousand euros in cash! A clear indication that they may be responsible for a whole series of other thefts in the region.
Thieves in the sights of the judiciary
The investigation shows that the men are accused of at least nine thefts. The police suspect that they broke into unlocked cars, especially in Balingen and the surrounding area. A judge has already issued an arrest warrant for the two men, and the judiciary will now do everything in its power to clarify the background to these criminal activities. Citizens can breathe a sigh of relief because the police acted quickly and put the perpetrators behind bars!
