The Spielhansl toilet shop in Esslingen will close. Owner Bertram Kipp, who will soon be 72 years old, has announced that he would like to retire. The traditional shop, which has been based in Esslinger Bahnhofstrasse for 27 years, was particularly known for his range of dragons, hand puppets, juggling and wooden toys. Kipp searched for a successor for over a year, but could not find a suitable one. Despite several interested parties, the conditions were not correct.
