Wedding party blocked on Aalstrasse: Police come out because of chaos!

A wedding in Aalen caused traffic chaos, which called the police into action! On Friday evening around 6 p.m. Aalstrasse was blocked by a mass of vehicles, and not because of an accident or a construction site. Disappointed drivers who wanted to turn off Stuttgarter Straße had to turn back or wait in long lines. “What’s this all about?” many asked themselves as they drove around the blockade.

The wedding party had blocked the road without permission. Residents were disturbed by loud music, drumming and even gunfire. An 86-year-old resident reported the noise that had been going on for a long time. “The noise has been going on for a while,” she complained. Police received numerous complaints about the disruption and chaos the celebration caused.

Police arrive

Bernd Märkle, deputy head of the press office at the Aalen police headquarters, confirmed that the police responded to reports of a shot from a blank gun. On site, officers found around 60 vehicles blocking Aalstrasse and bringing traffic on Stuttgarter Strasse to a standstill. Fortunately, there were no further incidents or evidence of gunfire.

The wedding guests finally followed the police's call to clear the street and continued in their motorcade towards Heidenheim. But the celebrations weren't over yet! Just an hour later, residents reported loud celebrations again, but the police officers who arrived were unable to find any further violations. The police make it clear: wedding celebrations are not a legal vacuum, and anyone who breaks the rules must face consequences.
